Parents Information

Parents are very welcome at our school. Some parents support reading and themed days in school. Parents also help out with school trips and PTA events. If parents need to talk to a member of staff then all staff are available after school each day. It is difficult for staff to talk to parents immediately before school, as they are busy getting ready for the day ahead.  Alternatively, the office staff are very happy to pass on any important messages that you want to tell staff.

Click on the top tabs to access information on various topics. Note our new page - Parents Information Resource - giving information about childcare and financial help for families.

Back copies of school newsletters and all current letters for the whole school can be accessed by clicking on the links below - together with our privacy notice concerning collection and holding of data in school.

Shottermill Junior School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All staff and volunteers have DBS checks.  We have a Child Protection Policy which parents and carers are welcome to read on request.

Class specific letters concerning school trips and other activities can be accessed by going to the appropriate Year Group under Class and Curriculum Information.
